PurpleKitti is a small Art and Design Business based in Birmingham, UK, and is owned and operated by Emily Stevens.

Working alongside the Prince’s Trust and Black Country Chamber of Commerce, PurpleKitti has been developing since 2011, and has so far worked for a variety of clients, including individuals and businesses, charities, established businesses and new start-ups.

The main aim of PurpleKitti is to combine tech knowledge with design skills in order to provide a service to clients that is totally individual, creative and a little bit different to the standard fare you’d expect.  PurpleKitti aims to give the best of both worlds. It’s so much better when you have a designer who understands how a site functions, or a website coder who actually knows something about design – you end up with a site that both looks good and functions well.

Often, websites are produced by programmers and coders, who sometimes have little in the way of design knowledge. In order to develop and present your business, yourself or your brand in an effective, professional way, lots of considerations need to be made. Style, ethics, business type, target audience, functionality, budget and scope are all important considerations to make when you’re developing an identity or a web presence for your business. We will look at all of these areas with you, and develop something that you will be happy with, that represents the ideas you have in an appropriate, visually pleasing and effective way – whether the brand or identity is developed alongside us or is already established.

PurpleKitti is built on communication.

Communicating with our clients to develop a well designed and effective solution, so that they can communicate their products or services to their own clients in turn.
